International Friendship Exchange

KITA believes that the transfer of technologies is not achieved through textbooks alone, but rather that true technology transfer only becomes possible in a cordial environment that fosters relationships of trust and friendship with participants.

That is why KITA provides participants with opportunities to come into contact with Japanese traditions, culture and society, as well as running various international goodwill exchange programs, with the cooperation and support of individual citizens and volunteer groups. These programs are intended to foster mutual understanding and friendship between participants and the people of Kitakyushu, and include home visits, coach tours, walking tours of Kitakyushu, trips to cheer on Giravanz Kitakyushu (a professional soccer team based in Kitakyushu) and so on.
